Nefertiti Bust
The Nefertiti Bust is a painted limestone sculpture depicting Queen Nefertiti, the Great Royal Wife of Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. Created around 1345 BC by the sculptor Thutmose, it is one of the most famous works of ancient Egyptian art and considered an icon of feminine beauty. The bust depicts the queen with a long neck, elegantly curved features, and the characteristic flat-topped crown that has become synonymous with her image. The sculpture maintains most of its original paint and showcases remarkable craftsmanship in its naturalistic style.
